Transferring account ownership
Hand ownership of your workspace to another administrator, for example when you’re changing jobs. You need to be the current , and to have your password. Your successor needs to be a Total Rewards Admin or a System Admin already.
What ownership means
Section titled “What ownership means”One member is the account owner, marked Owner on the members list. The owner is a System Admin who can’t be removed from the workspace, and whose password sign-in keeps working if your workspace requires , so there’s always a way back in if your identity provider is unavailable.
Transfer it
Section titled “Transfer it”- Go to Settings → Workspace → General.
- In the Danger zone at the bottom of the page, which only the owner sees, choose your successor in Select an account admin.
- Select Transfer ownership.
- In Transfer ownership?, enter your password in Confirm your password.
- Select Transfer ownership.
The new owner gets the Owner badge and, if they weren’t one already, becomes a System Admin. Your own doesn’t change.
If no one can be chosen, the card says so. Make someone a Total Rewards Admin or System Admin first; see Inviting your team and managing access.
Afterwards
Section titled “Afterwards”Only the owner can transfer ownership, so once you’ve handed it on you can’t take it back yourself. To have it back, ask the new owner to transfer it to you.
The transfer is recorded on the ’s Account activity tab.
If your workspace signs in through WCP Hub
Section titled “If your workspace signs in through WCP Hub”A workspace on WCP Hub has no Transfer ownership control, because there is no password to confirm it with. Settings → Workspace → General shows Ownership is transferred by Mitratech support where the Danger zone would be. Ask Mitratech support to transfer it; they make the change from the platform console, and it is recorded on the audit trail’s Account activity tab like any other transfer. See Mitratech Comp on WCP Hub.
