Mitratech Comp on WCP Hub

If your company already manages its users, sign-in and security on WCP Hub, your Mitratech Comp workspace uses them instead of keeping its own. Everyone has one account and one sign-in, and the people who run Hub grant and remove access in one place. This page is for anyone using such a workspace, and for the System Admins who run it. Mitratech sets a workspace up this way; you don’t switch it on yourself.

stay in Mitratech Comp. Hub decides who is in your workspace and how they sign in, and a System Admin here decides what each of them can do.

A workspace on WCP Hub has no sign-in form. Open your workspace’s address and the page, which says Taking you to WCP Hub…, sends you straight to Hub. Sign in there, with Hub’s if you use one, and you land in your workspace with no second prompt. If the page doesn’t move on after a few seconds, select Continue to WCP Hub.

There is no password sign-in in the workspace for anyone, the included. Forgot password? and the password reset pages send you to Hub’s sign-in, and your workspace has no connection of its own.

If Hub knows you but your workspace doesn’t, the page says You don’t have access yet. Ask your admin to give you access to Mitratech Comp in WCP Hub. If Mitratech Comp can’t reach Hub to finish signing you in, it says so; try again in a few minutes.

A session lasts at most seven days. After that you sign in again, through Hub.

See Signing in for the other ways into a workspace.

Users are added and removed in Hub. Settings → Workspace → Members has no Add user and no welcome email, and a note says that users are managed in WCP Hub and links to Hub. Mitratech Comp sends a Hub workspace’s users no welcome email. Members, Import and the import review each say Users are synced from WCP Hub: users’ names and email addresses come from Hub, and an import adds and updates employee records but doesn’t add users or change their names and emails. An employee an import marks terminated still loses access to Mitratech Comp, as in any workspace (see Updating employee data). See Inviting your team and managing access and Suspending, restoring and removing access.

  • Roles stay in Mitratech Comp. A System Admin changes them in the Role column of the members list, as in any workspace.
  • The first Hub admin to sign in becomes the account owner, and a System Admin. Mitratech sets up the workspace without an owner, so nobody holds ownership until then. The assignment appears on the as made by WCP Hub.
  • If Mitratech Comp can’t read a person’s Hub role when they sign in, a returning user signs in with the role they have, and someone signing in for the first time is asked to try again.

See Reviewing the audit trail.

Hub owns passwords, second factors and single sign-on, so the controls for them are not in the workspace. Where a control would be, the page says that it’s managed in WCP Hub, and most notes link to the place in Hub that holds it.

In your profile menu, Profile opens your profile in Hub, where you change your name, password and second factor.

In the header, a button next to your profile menu opens Hub’s Product Switcher, a grid of your other Mitratech products. The switcher is Hub’s, so the products it lists are the ones Hub gives you access to. It isn’t shown while someone is viewing as a member.

Its Sign out runs the same sign-out as Logout in your profile menu.

Select Logout in your profile menu, or Sign out in the Product Switcher. Both end your Mitratech Comp session.

Mitratech staff can sign in to your workspace through Hub as one of your users, to help with a problem. The session is recorded on the audit trail against both of them, and the Viewing as banner names Mitratech staff via WCP Hub. It can’t be refreshed, so it ends on its own. See Reviewing the audit trail.
