Mitratech Comp is a compensation-planning tool built to do one job well: run the merit cycle end to end, and leave a record that stands up afterwards.
The Mission
Give mid-market HR teams a comp cycle they can run themselves, defend afterwards, and stand up in weeks instead of months.
Most companies between 100 and 2,000 employees run their annual merit cycle in spreadsheets, or in a thin module attached to their HRIS. Versions multiply, the numbers stop reconciling, and when somebody asks who approved a particular increase, the answer lives in an email thread.
The tools built to fix that are enterprise suites priced and scheduled for much larger companies, or newer tools that hand the decision to an AI agent. Mitratech Comp is the third option: standalone, HRIS-agnostic, opinionated enough that a comp team can stand it up on their own, and governed so that people, not models, decide pay.
Defensible by design
An audit trail that is never edited or deleted, segregation of duties, guardrails that ask for a reason, and approvals that route up the org are the product, not a compliance add-on. Every decision can be explained a year later.
Live in weeks
The whole cycle, from the file you already have to the payroll file, stood up by your own team. Opinionated defaults instead of an implementation project, and no consultancy in the room.
Governed AI
AI drafts and explains; people decide. Nothing it suggests takes effect on its own, no AI writes a pay number, and every decision you make on a suggestion lands on the audit trail.
